Do you know what a line cliché is? It’s called a line cliché for a reason because it’s a common as day musical idiom (hence being called a cliché) used in musical progressions. Of course Taurus has a small element of the song that has a similarity to Stairway – because it chromatically walks down an A minor progression. We could list 100’s of songs that use this exact same cliché. There’s nothing unique or proprietary about it. Rick explains this very well. There’s no question that this money grab, on the face of it, is unfounded.
