Download The Instrumental Wet Stems From The Original Stairway Project

by admin

Wet stems (stems with fx processing like EQ, reverb etc) are available for download from The Stairway Project’s Google Drive account. These stems can be used as the foundation to your own vocal cover of Stairway, or as a backing track for sing-along/play-along, or cutting your own guitar solo. The value in these is that you get to control the levels and have more options with respect to tweaking the mix.l

Some of the original stems have been combined into a master stem track (like the recorders and electric piano parts) to make it easier for you to use. Just drop them into your DAW of choice, adjust a few levels, and you should be good to go.

Pay attention to things like gain staging so you have headroom to master if you want have fun.  If you feel you have a particularly good mix please feel free to share it with others in the web forums.

You can also use these as a beginner mixing lab but for those that want more options and to go deeper – the DRY STEMS for the whole project will be made available soon.

Good luck with the project. The files are zipped in a .rar archive and free of viruses, and hosted in our own google drive account.

Note: You can find these stems and other downloads on our File Page for easy quick reference
