The Stairway Project is proud to present this version of Stairway to Heaven featuring Vancouver based vocalist Michelle Payne. Michelle was the very first respondent to deliver completed vocal tracks for the project and we have been working with them off and on for about six months.
This mix and master is the most recent (March 2017) and has been done entirely in a home based studio using tools and plugins accessible to most any budget.
This mix differs from earlier project mixes in the way certain instruments are panned; the obvious difference is that acoustic guitars were panned left and recorders and 12 string electric were panned right on this (and is more true to the original Zeppelin mix).
